Period From February to August
The Caribbean Trade Winds provide consistent conditions for several days (5-10 days) with a short break (1-3 days) till the next windy period. The predominant wind direction is East with around 15-25 knots. The pattern throughout the day is ESE (morning) ENE (afternoon) and straight East with increased wind strength 28+ knots. The most reliable season is from February till the end of August but there can be wind all year.
The Camp Bay Beach is the longest natural beach of the island and the spot is entirely sheltered by the barrier reef from open ocean. The water is around 26 degree and about 2-4m deep.
