English (Translate this text in English): West Sands is 1.5 miles of golden sand, beach is very shallow which can mean a very long walk to the waters edge at low tide. There is a dedicated kite zone toward the upper end of the beach, please stick to this

At high tide it is possible to sail across the Eden estuary towards Tentsmuir beach, halfway across you'll find a colony of seals which will disappear one by one as you approach and re-appear 10 yards behind you........Absolutely brilliant!!!

Like anywhere in Scotland, locals are very friendly and are only too happy to chat/launch/land
